Christmas Rally Report 2011
The Christmas Rally at Brigadoon Holiday Park, North Haven, was well attended and probably a record attendance. Quite a number of members stayed for the full week in the hope that it would fine up. Unfortunately there were periods of rain which made things damp, but did not dampen our spirits. The recently acquired large tarpaulin which was erected energetically by some male members made a dry and suitable dinning/party area for the clubs social gatherings. Without it the weekend would have been difficult as suitable cover for the numbers attending was not available.
The number of members attending the Christmas Dinner was 45 and we gained another member on the weekeend, so welcome Astrid Van Eyke. The catering this year was considered excellent and the usual Christmas gift exchange was again presented well with plenty of humour by Santa Ros Lenihan and her assistant Colleen Crowley. Some gifts changed hands on several occasions, much to the delight of the crowd, and not so for some who had what they wanted gifts prized from their arms.
This Caravan Park offered large sites with plenty of room for cars and boats. The location was central for members but a lucky few only had to go just around the corner or up the road to get home. For those who like fishing it was an excellent opportunity to feed the fish so they can get bigger for next time.
I thank all those that attended and Colleenfor organising the caterer, and wish all the members a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Newsletter 2011.4
G'day All.
We have enjoyed two Rallies since the last newsletter, Woolgoolga in October and Budgewoi earlier this month. These are two great venues and it was a pity that only six vans attended the Budgewoi event. Having said that, those that did attend enjoyed a great weekend. The casserole night on Saturday was a great success. Thanks to all you amazing cooks. A big thank you to Allan and Lesley Rapley for organizing this Rally.
The Woolgoolga Rally saw 12 vans in attendance. This is a great little Park and any one heading north should consider stopping off there for a few days. Thanks to Ron and Lyn Castle for organizing this event.
The Christmas Rally is next week and I am looking forward to seeing you all there. Don't forget your Christmas presents and stuff to decorate your vans. Also, the AGM will be held at 10 A.M. on the Sunday morning.
Keep those wheels turning. Cheers. John.

Budgewoi Rally 4/7 November 2011
There were 6 Caravans on this Rally Comprising Cooper's, Rapley's Lenihan's, Byrne, Barlows and Putland's and a great time was had by all. During the day, we each went our own way to the shops and attractions on the Central Coast. The weather was great all weekend.
On Saturday night, our ladies did us proud with the delicious casseroles and sweets which they served. They were just fabulous. So on Sunday night, we decided to feast on the leftovers from the previous night. What a great decision.
Karen and Wayne Cooper were returning home via Bringelly, where they were to pick up their new puppy.
Name is still to be decided.
Allan and Lesley Rapley.
