G'day all. We have had two Rallies since the last newsletter, one to South West Rocks and one to Yamba. Both were well attended with twelve vans (23 members) attending both Rallies. A great turnout. A big thank you to Mark and Edna Townsend and Ron and Lyn Castle for organising these Rallies. I was not able to attend the SWR rally but am on the mend and was pleased to be able to attend the Yamba Rally. I am running out of superlatives to descibe the dishes being put forward each Rally. The Pikelets at Yamba were pretty good too Ron.
Just a gentle reminder that Annual Fees are due as at 30th June. Fees are $35 double $25 single. We have to pay the State Association Annual Insurance by 30th June, so your early payment would be appreciated.
The next Rally is at Gloucester on 14th- 17th June. We have organised some fire bins so throw in a bit of fire wood if you have room. Saturday night will be 'your favourite Casserole' night. See you there.
Keep those wheels turning.
Cheers. John.

( Yamba) Fishing Haven Rally 3-10th MAY.
Twelve vans attended the Rally, some arriving early and some staying on. An enjoyable time was had by all members on this rally, especially the fishermen who spent a lot of time on the wharves both day and night. This would have to be one of the most scenic sites we have stayed at, being right on the edge of the Clarence River with access to deep water fishing, a prawn co-op and seclusion, with several areas available to walk the pets, both on and off the leash.
Saturday nights barbeque was exceptional with the members excelling themselves with their contributions. Geoff with a magnificient Jewfish and the variety of food to go with the BBQ,and the desserts were to die for.
Thanks to all the members that helped with the erection of the shade covers and tarpaulins which we made use of again on Sunday morning with a lovely morning tea of fresh cooked Pikelets with Blackberry Jam and cream- yummy.
Lyn and I would like to thank everyone who attended this Rally and made it such an enjoyable time for all.
Ron Castle. Rally Leader.
