G'day all. We have had two rallies since the last newsletter, Bretti Reserve in September and Jimmy's Beach this month. We had good numbers for both Rallies. Good to see so many members getting good use out of their vans/motorhomes. ( In answer to your next question. We are not changing the name of the Club).
A big thank you to Anne and Alan and Liz and Don for organizing their respective Rallies, well done.
Even though there was no 'theme' for either Rally the desserts on both occasions were superb. A big thanks to all that contributed.
The next Rally is Ellenborough on 15th-18th November. Rally leader for this Rally is Wayne Cooper. please let him know soon if you are going.
The Christmas Rally will be on from 29th November. If you have not already booked, please do so ASAP and advise Barbara Byrne.
We do need to know numbers as we need at least 30 to use Golden Roast as caterers.
ALSO Each male and each female must bring a like present of no more than $10.00 AND there will be three prizes for the best decorated vans.
Keep those wheels turning.
Cheers. John.

Jimmy's Beach Rally October 2013
A fantastic rollup of fourteen vans and Motorhomes made the trip down to Hawks Nest. Most of the members attending said that they had enjoyed the Rally. The weather was mainly fine although fairly windy. Pancakes on Saturday morning were a popular treat.
Saturday night was very enjoyable, Raf having organized friends John and Sharon, to entertain us with guitar and song. It was very relaxing.
Unfortunately Howard and Louise couldn't make it as Jack, their dog, wasn't well. We all hope he will be 100% soon.
Liz and I had to return to Port early on Sunday to attend my Dad's 96th birthday. As you could imagine a wild party at East Port Bowling Club was eventful.
I do hope that Keith and his number plate made it home OK.
It was great to see Annie was able to attend and enjoy the Rally.
