Ellenborough Rally. August 2015

A good time was had by the ten vans that attended this Rally. The fellowship and meals shared around the camp fires  made for a great weekend. Thanks everyone for participating.
Fridays happy hour flowed into building your own hamburger at tea time with some jokes and trivia incorporated.
Keith was the " Jack" in the skit about bowls which also involved other of the club. A lot of dialogue went back and forth. Quite enjoyable? Rolled oats for breakfast for those that wanted it. Saturdays happy hour ran into tea time once again with Masssman Curry with rice and dumplings, which went over well. A ten year birthday cake for the club was part of the sweets.
A " Sexiest man " competition was voted on by the women. John Baker was the winner. He dropped his dacks to display a nice pretty pair of LADIES UNDIES !!!! It became obvious why the women voted for John.
Also I surveyed the women and took a list of  stats from them e.g. Height, measurements, eye colour etc. The men then had to try and pick their own wife as I read out the stats. Much fun laughter and comments flowed back and forth. Only one of the men identified his own wife.
All in all, I believe everyone had an enjoyable time.
Don't forget the next Rally at Moonee Beach 4-7 September.

Many thanks to all.

Cheers.

Jeff.

Coopernook Rally July 2015

A small but very intimate group of six vans attended the rally , the weather was kind to us, even though it was a bit chilly. The six fires we had going most of the time made life a little easier.    We all decided it was cold enough to have the Saturday night dinner mid afternoon, and it worked out very well , a very enjoyable time was had by all. Tillie Lewis was the only pooch in attendance and she had a great time making short work of the scraps.
Sunday morning, bacon and eggs with trimmings, again, it was great.Almost forgot, Keith ,John L , John B and myself went to the Caravan show at Nabiac on Saturday, and bumped into Wayne and Karen, they are going OK.

Cheers.  Don.
