This is not the way I wanted to open the first Newsletter of the year.
We have only had two rallies this year and we are already having complaints of dogs around camps off leads. The Club Rules and Regulations in ALL Caravan Parks are that all dogs must be on a leash at all times ( Parks or Free Camps ) except in designated off- leash areas as designated by the Park or the relevant Authority.
I do not intend to make this comment after every Rally, Caravan Park or Free Camp, for the rest of the year.
If we can't get members to comply with this rule the committee will institute sanctions against the offending members. These sanctions will include suspension of membership from Club Rallies for a period of time.
Please consider other members rights. There are members without dogs who do not like dogs wandering around the camp peeing ETC in and around their annexe and caravan area. Others that own dogs don't like it either. Consider others!!!!
Cheers. John Lenihan. President.

Ellenborough Reserve Rally 1/4/2016 to 4/4/2016
Eleven vans made the trip to Ellenborough and what a great weekend it was. Ros came out for the night on Saturday and Sue, a friend of Jeff and Annette spent Friday and Saturday night with us.
Several members, Dave and Carmel, Mike and Sandra, Dennis and Stella and prospective (now joined) membersWarren (Wassa) and Pat made day trips at different times over the weekend.
Saturday night theme was country and western. The music was great, but you try boot scooting in Cuban heels you haven't worn for ages on grass with divots and grass clumps.
Where do I start with the meals? Jeff and Noelene did some great food. Friday night was pies, peas, mashed potato and gravy. Delicious!! Saturday Jeff cooked Porridge for those that have never been in the Army and can still eat it. Saturday night everyone cooked their own meat and Jeff cooked great vegies in camp ovens, along with fantastic deserts of baked apples and pears and creamed rice. Watch out My Kitchen Rules, he's coming for you. Sunday Morning Jeff was on deck early ( I mean REAL early ) cooking bacon eggs tomatoes and toast. Thanks. Next time I go to Ellenborough and Jeff is catering I am not taking any food at all.
Barry never sat still ( or sat down at all ) all weekend and always found something that needed doing. Thanks Barry. Thanks also to the members who helped out on Saturday afternoon cutting up all the vegies. - See photos.
A great effort Jeff and Noelene and all others that helped out.
Jeff you have raised the bar YET AGAIN.
All in all a great weekend, great food, great company and great weather. What more could you possibly ask for ?
Cheers. John.
Keep those wheels rolling.
