Halifax Rally November 2016 Nelson Bay provided its usual natural beautiful charm until the wind arrived..We had 6 vans 1 motor home and 4 dogs, as this was the second rally at this venue this year it was a good turn out.The camp kitchen well located and used for happy hours and Saturday nights BBQ, Thank you ladies for the great salads and sweets. John Lenihan and myself were presented with birthday cakes thanks Ros and Carmel and everybody's rendition of happy birthday.and best wishes. Maureen organised a great tour of Fort Scratchly on Sunday which was very interesting and informative,enjoyed by those who went along with lunch at Wests Mayfield Leagues Club. The fires caused concern with some deciding to stay an extra day or packing up and departing early in case the highway was closed again . Happy Vanning. Dave.
