Crescent Head June 2014

Rally Leader Faye Garvey

Another successful rally at Crescent Head. Seventeen vans turned up, some stayed for at least a week or more. We had lovely weather, only one day of cloud cover but not cold. There is a very long beach to walk on plus the tidal estuary to paddle in so we had plenty of places to walk and the dogs loved it. Some of us were lucky enough to spot whales travelling along the coast from a  look out on top of the big hill. A group of us played golf and others went to play bowls. Saturday dinner was a huge success with a good choice of food prepared by the members. Everyone impressed with the desserts.
Len invited a number of the female members to one end of the park to see his python. Haven't heard how impressive it was.

Rally Leaders Alan Beake & Anne King

Only 4 vans attended the rally but a great time was had by all. Anne celebrated a birthday on Friday 16th. She said she was only 21 again but we persuaded her that she had used this for a while so she has moved up to 22. A cake was provided ( see pictures) so those that didn't attend missed out !! The weather was magnificent again and the grass had been mowed and there were very few cow pies. Sunday morning Coralie made scones with jam & cream in lieu of a breakfast.

Coopernook State Forest April 2014

Rally Leaders Wayne & Karen Cooper

Coopernook was well attended with 8 vans & 1 motor home. Total 15 members. The weather was very good with just a little rain but not enough to dampen the spirits of everyone. Sunday morning we had the usual breakfast which everyone helped to prepare, cook & demolish.

We have 1 new member David Jourdant and one couple, Reg & Karen Farrell from Harrington who are potential members. 

Mark (Moses) and Edna Townsend dropped in on the way back from Temora to pay us a visit and Mark called down the rain with Doug's staff that he was whittling. Thanks Mark we will get you back.

Andrew, Nat & Sienna turned up for lunch on Sunday and seemed to enjoy themselves.

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped to make this another successful rally.
