Newsletter 2010. 4

G'day all. We have had three events since the last Newsletter, two Rallies and our July Luncheon. All three events were well attended.
We had six vans attend the rally at Ellenborough and were joined by past secretary Garry Stratton and wife Pamela who were staying there for two weeks. Although the weather was a 'bit mixed', we had plenty of firewood (and some Port) and a great time was had by all ( See Marks report on our Blog site). Well done Mark and Edna.
The July Luncheon was also well attended with twenty members in attendance. We were well catered for with a variety of food. A very enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Thanks to Patricia and Frank for organizing this event. Report also on the Blog.
The August Rally had a good rollup with ten vans making the trip. The weather was a bit 'ordinary' and being on the shady side of the Park didn't help. The Saturday night dinner was moved forward to lunch time due to the cold conditions and a good variety of casseroles and sweets made it a great afternoon. Thanks to Allan and Lesley for running this event. See Allans report on the Blog.
The next Rally is at Scotts Head 10th / 13th September and although bookings are closed I think you could still get a booking if your circumstances have changed.
Warwick has pre-booked sites at Nambucca Heads for October and you should have received an email about this. REMEMBER the AGM will be held on the Sunday and we would like a good turnout for this.
Pre-bookings have been made for the Christmas Rally at Repton 3rd to 6th December.
Golden Roast will again be doing the Catering.
Put these dates in your Diary so that we can have good numbers for these remaining Rallies.

Keep those wheels turning.

Cheers. John.
