What a great weekend ! For those who attended thanks for a great time. Unfortunately there were only 5 vans booked in for the weekend and Raf and Julia had to pull out at the last minute due to a Flu Viru,so we hope that you are now well Raf. Max and Phillipa Angel weren't able to get away for the weekend but did travel up and had lunch with us on Saturday. Great effort. The weather possibly kept members away as there was probably no confidence that it would stay fine. Well we were blessed, and the days were warm and sunny until the sun went below the horizon, and then it cooled down considerably. The Italian theme meal went over extremely well along with varieties of red wine. Doug's new 'PIG' that Mark has procured was the centre of attention particularly in the cool evenings where we all sat closely for happy hour. It worked well Doug, so expect a few orders !!! A few of us tried our hand at fishing and all that was caught was a few rocks that broke our lines and our spirit. All the dogs behaved well as did the owners. But, the Italian food and wine obviously had a great effect on Liz, as she was the life of the party.
