North Beach Rally Mylestom 5th to 8th February.

We had a good turnout of 11 vans attend this delightful tourist park. The weather was varied but warm, and the splendid camp kitchen came into use for Happy Hour and of course the rally dinner on Saturday night.

The surf beach and surrounds were a great place for the doggie members to exercise without Council restrictions or interference.

Both Ivan and Jeff N tortured the surf beach and were rewarded with some nice Bream and Whiting.

We had a BYO Food evening on Saturday with food sourced from the excellent Chan’s Chinese Restaurant at the NS Bowling Club. There was plenty left for a good feed for all on Sunday.

Carmel helped me once more to put on a pancake morning tea on Sunday. We demolished five bottles of pancake mix equivalent to some 100-odd pancakes!

Some took advantage of the markets in Coffs Harbour on Sunday.

Members started departing on Monday, with a few staying till Tuesday or Wednesday. Our President has shown exceptional commitment and will leave on Friday!

Next Rally is scheduled for Lakeside at Forster from 3rd to 9th March under Dave Moore’s supervision. Be quick to book and let Dave know.
