Coopernook State Forest April 2014

Rally Leaders Wayne & Karen Cooper

Coopernook was well attended with 8 vans & 1 motor home. Total 15 members. The weather was very good with just a little rain but not enough to dampen the spirits of everyone. Sunday morning we had the usual breakfast which everyone helped to prepare, cook & demolish.

We have 1 new member David Jourdant and one couple, Reg & Karen Farrell from Harrington who are potential members. 

Mark (Moses) and Edna Townsend dropped in on the way back from Temora to pay us a visit and Mark called down the rain with Doug's staff that he was whittling. Thanks Mark we will get you back.

Andrew, Nat & Sienna turned up for lunch on Sunday and seemed to enjoy themselves.

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped to make this another successful rally.

Grafton Rally March 2014

It was good to see so many members turn up for the rally with 14 vans attending. We had river front sites and only a short walk to the water. As you can imagine Saturday dinner was a good turnout with lots of delicious food and good company. We had to set up several tables to cater for everyone. We were joined by park owners and managers, swelling our numbers even more !
The park was in a very good location, nice and quiet at night and easy enough to get to Grafton to shop. The park owner gave us the use of a fishing boat and plenty of fish were caught. Geoff and Keith cooked them up to share at happy hour one night. The river was enjoyed by everyone, not just for fishing but swimming and kayaking as well.

Mylestom Rally February 2014

Mylestom was very successful, considering the weather. Not cold, just a bit damp ! We had eleven vans and one motorhome. The park managers were kind enough to set up a gazebo for our happy hours so we didn't have far to walk (read stagger) to our vans. Everyone had a good time on Saturday night, the food was amazing and so much of it !
