Rally Report Mylstom 2012

The weekend in Mylstom was a great success with ten vans attending. According to the feedback I received, everyone had a great time. The weather was a mixed bag, however it held off on Saturday so that we could enjoy our lunch/dinner, as we decided to hold it mid-afternoon due to the cold evenings. There was a great array of curries which were all fantastic and the same could be said of the delicious sweets that followed. The bar is raised everytime we have these combined meals. Congratulations to all the cooks.Sunday the rains came down and everyone just lazed back and read the papers, although the 'boys' were very interested in Jeff's new 'pig'. A contraption he welded together from parts from several old gas bottles that he now uses as a fire and cooker, particularly when 'free camping'. Very impressive Jeff.
As usual the sun came out on Monday morning as most members were packing up to go home.
Thanks to all those that attended and hope to see you all again soon.

Colleen Crowley.

Secretary.
