Ellenborough Rally September 2011

Eight Vans attended the Ellenborough Rally, although one had only one occupant. Some time Ros we will get you out there. The first arrived on Tuesday 13th and the last left on Monday 19th. Why didn't you go home like everyone else on Sunday, John ?
A new addition to the camp facilities was the erection of the Clubs recently acquired 8m x 8m shelter which provided protection from the sun and the cool night air. The open fires also added warmth once night fell and happy hour continued prior to dinner. Nice to see Jeff and John come out after dinner to keep the fire going, and help to solve the problems of the world.
The weather was beautiful and the company great (as usual ).
We were also blessed with friendly neighbours . Four club members who weren't able to attend the whole camp managed to drop in for a visit, two on Saturday and two on Sunday, which was great.
On Sunday morning the Club sponsored breakfast saw everyone enjoy a hot cooked breakfast under the new shelter.
All in all it was a great camp with everyone giving a helping hand.
It was agreed by all those attending , that future Rallies at Ellenborough be held in September.

Doug Magennis. Rally Leader.
