Roving DAM Rally Stage 2. All participants managed to find their way to Split Rock Dam (free camp) with a change of venue on the move. The weather behaved reasonably well ,only the usual afternoon thunder storms. Sunday nights BAKED DINNER was well received many thanks to the MKR. COOKS ?? Unfortunately not all availed the scenery and sites around Barraba, which was the Asbestos capitol of Australia in the 1970s--80s until it fell out of favor. Barraba is a vibrant agricultural centre ie; wheat ,wool and cattle. A short journey of 150--160 k found us at Copeton Dam, passing through Barraba, Bingara following the Gwyder River through Kera Station which is the home of Aberdeen Angus cattle in Australia.
